Taking up "community-based activities" and considering specific examples, we will consider the role and significance of the activities launched by the initiatives of citizens and residents in the future of local and international communities. It is an opportunity to share and discuss topics in-depth with fellow students, under the guidance of qualified teachers with extensive knowledge and experience. We hope for students to discover the joy of learning that university offers.
In each seminar, under the supervision of the instructor, a small groups of students aiming to acquire advanced, specialized knowledge, will set themselves study tasks, fieldwork, read detailed source materials and present the results.

「コミュニティに基盤をおいた活動」を取りあげ、その具体的な事例を通じて、市民・住民のイニシアチブによって立ち上げられた活動がこれからの日本の地域社会や国際社会に果たす役割や意義を考える。専攻領域を持つ教員の知見と経験に富む指導のもと、問題意識を共有する学友と共に集中的に探究する時と場である。大学生となったからには，ぜひこの学びの喜びを主体的に発見してください。

それぞれのゼミでは少人数で高度な専門的知識の取得をめざし，担当教員の指導のもとで，自主的に学習課題を設定し，フィールドワーク，文献資料の精読等によって研究を行い，その成果を発表します。
