Conducting quantitative social research on contemporary themes related to people's lives such as community, social welfare, family, school and work. By experiencing a series of processes such as setting of research topics and hypothesis, producing questionnaires, sampling, distribution and collection of questionnaires, data input and management, statistical analysis using statistical software, and preparation of reports, students will be able to plan, conduct and analyze quantitative social surveys.
Sessions 1 to 7: Survey design (survey topic, survey target, setting of hypothesis, previous studies, and learning of social survey methods).
Sessions 8 to 12: Preparation of questionnaire (question item and question wording, questionnaire production, and pre-surveys).
Sessions 13 to 19: Distribution and collection of questionnaires, data entry and data management.
Sessions 20 to 24: Data analysis (basic aggregation and multivariate analysis).
Sessions 25 to 28: Report preparation.

コミュニティ・社会福祉・家族・学校・労働など人々の生活に関わる現代的なテーマについて量的な社会調査を実施する。調査課題と仮説の設定、調査票の作成、サンプリング、調査票の配布・回収、データ入力、データ整理、統計ソフトウェアを利用した統計分析、報告書の作成という社会調査の一連の過程を体験し、量的な社会調査を企画・実施・分析できるようにする。

１～7回 調査企画（調査課題・調査対象・仮説の設定、先行研究、社会調査の方法の学習）
8～12回 調査票の作成（質問項目や質問文作成、調査票作成、プレ調査）
13～19回 調査票の配布と回収、データ入力とデータ整理
20～24回 データ分析（基礎集計と多変量解析）
25～28回 報告書の作成

統計分析や統計ソフトSPSSの操作方法について、社会調査に関する他科目で学習したことをテキスト等で復習してください。
他の講義・演習科目に比べて、課題演習・グループでの打ち合わせ等による授業時間外の作業量が多くなります。

・本実習はグループによる調査計画・実査準備・分析・プレゼンテーション等を予定しているため、特段の理由のない欠席・遅刻は厳禁とする。
・授業計画はあくまで予定であり、実査の都合等によりスケジュールに変更が生じる可能性がある。
・「リサーチ方法論２」（社会調査士科目D）および「データ分析法」（社会調査士科目E）を前年度、または社会調査実習と同年度に並行して履修することを強く推奨する。
