This course aims to deepen the understanding of coaching concepts in high performance sports using examples of coaching practiced in high-level competitive sports of various disciplines.
Instructors, who have substantial experience of actually coaching elite sport athletes, will give lectures on coaching methods and their underlying ideas in their specialized disciplines. This course will also introduce the current state of coaching in foreign countries and consider the perspectives necessary for coaches and the role of coaching to support athletes in order to maximize their performance.

多様な競技種目を対象に、トップレベルの競技スポーツ現場において実践されているコーチングの事例を手掛かりに、トップアスリートを育てるためのスポーツコーチングの在り方について理解することを目標とする。
This course aims to deepen the understanding of coaching concepts in high performance sports using examples of coaching practiced in high-level competitive sports of various disciplines.
実際にトップアスリートを育成・指導した経験をもつ講師陣が、各々が専門とする競技種目における指導法とその考え方などについて講義する。また、本授業では、諸外国におけるコーチングの現状にも触れ、スポーツ選手が最大のパフォーマンスを発揮できるように、指導者が持つべき視点や、トップアスリートを支援するコーチングの役割について考究する。
