【Course Objectives】

The aim of the course is for students to acquire advanced expertise, through working in small groups under the guidance of an instructor, setting topics and themes independently for themselves following the research plan created in Advanced Research Seminar 1, conducting fieldwork, reading related literature and materials thoroughly, and then presenting and discussing the results.

【Course Contents】

Advanced Research Seminar provides an opportunity to share and discuss topics in-depth with fellow students, under the guidance of qualified teachers with extensive knowledge and experience. This is an elective course because of its emphasis on spontaneity and self-motivation.
In the field of health exercise, students improve their scientific knowledge and ability and develop an extensive knowledge of sports and welfare, as these relate to health and exercise, in order to improve wellness through sport and exercise. In the field of sports performance, students improve their scientific knowledge and ability of sports science to help enhance human adaptability and contribute to the creation of an advanced sports culture. In addition, in the field of sports culture, students improve their knowledge and ability to contribute to the creation of a sports culture and the evolution of sports science as well as the development of a welfare society through sports.
The contents of the course are published in last year’s course guidance material. Please note that parts of the course may change in response to international events.
