To acquire a specialized method of exploring the history of Japanese language studies.
The course will be a close reading of Tokieda Motoki's "History of Japanese Linguistics" and will be annotated from a modern level by carefully following the research history. Students will report on their research in the assigned sections and further improve the quality and quantity of their work through discussion. Through these activities, students will learn about the methodology of research in the history of Japanese linguistics.

To acquire a specialized method of exploring the history of Japanese language studies.
時枝誠記『国語学史』を精読し、研究史を丹念に追うことで現代の水準から注釈を打っていく。受講生は、分担箇所について調査報告し、議論の中でさらに質と量の向上を図るものである。これらを通じて、日本語学史の探究について、その方法論を学び取っていくことになる。
