Students will read French text carefully and learn about methodology of literature research that will help them to write their graduate thesis.
Students will learn how to analyze and discuss literary texts in French.
Students will apply reading technique they have learnt on their research subjects.

20世紀フランス文学を代表する小説や批評を素材にして、フランス語テクストの精読をおこないながら、修士論文を書くうえで役に立つ文学研究の方法論を習得する。
Students will read French text carefully and learn about methodology of literature research that will help them to write their graduate thesis.
20世紀の小説の抜粋や研究論文を読みながら、フランス文学の原典を分析し論じるためのコツを身につけてもらう。必要に応じて、おもにプルースト研究を例にとり、伝記研究、テーマ批評、ナラトロジー（物語の技法論）、脱構築、表象文化史的アプローチ、ディスクール分析、草稿研究（生成批評）など、フランス文学研究の方法論、批評の歴史について紹介する。学んだ読解の技法を、受講者自身の研究対象に応用する機会にもしたい。
