【Course Objectives】

Students will understand differences between (neo) classical economics which emphasize supply and Keynesian economics which emphasizes demand. The goal of this class is to help students to learn basic analysis methods in post-Keynesian macrodynamic model.

【Course Contents】

While learning basic neoclassical and Keynesian models, students will learn how to analyze post-Keynesian macrodynamic model. As its application, students will learn Kaldor cycle model, one of post-Keynesian macrodynamic model, and numeral simulation method. Post-Keynesian macrodynamics use non-linear economics such as proving existence of closed orbit with Hopf branch theorem.
