The goal of the course is to learn the political economy of DX, GX, ESG, and SDGs related to issues confronting contemporary urbanization
Course management will be discussed and determined with the students. Since there is no single applicable textbook, students will read relevant papers and other materials on topics such as DX, GX, ESG and SDGs, critical minerals, compact cities, and tax reform. Students will also be expected to broaden their understanding of contemporary public finance and urban governance through presentations and discussion.

政治経済学からみた現代の都市が直面する課題とDX、GX、ESG、SDGsについて学習する。
The goal of the course is to learn the political economy of DX, GX, ESG, and SDGs related to issues confronting contemporary urbanization
コース運営については参加者と話し合いの上、決定する。1冊にまとまった教科書はないため、DX、GX、ESGやSDGs、クリティカル・ミネラルズ、コンパクトシティ、税制改革などのテーマに応じて、関連する論文等を読んでいく。また、学生には発表や討議を通じて、現代財政や都市統治のあり方についての理解を深め、最新の情報を学ぶことも求められる。
