Students will acquire systematic understanding about macro statistics, the core of financial statistics. Students will learn how to use and analyze data, while deepening their understanding about System of National Accounts.
System of National Accounts is considered core accounting system for official statistics. Focusing on SNA, students will learn systematically international trade balance statistics, Trade in Value Added Database, financial statistics, productivity statistics, development indicator, Supply, Use and Input-Output Tables, government financial statistics, and macro statistics. Students will also study industrial and production classifications that are essential in statistics. This class will proceed in both reading and seminar formats. Students will receive high volume of Excel seminars and assignments. They will also submit written reports regularly.

経済統計のうち、コアとなるマクロの統計について体系だった理解できるようにする。主に高度な加工統計を中心にグローバリゼーション、経済波及効果といった応用分析を学ぶ。

国民経済計算体系(SNA)は公的統計のコア勘定として位置付けられている。SNAを中心に、国際収支統計・付加価値貿易指標、金融統計、生産性統計、開発指標等、供給使用産業連関表、政府財政統計、マクロの統計を体系的に学ぶ。統計に必要な分類として産業分類、生産物分類も扱う。授業は輪読形式のものと、演習形式も組み合わせたものと2種類ある。Excelを利用した演習や宿題を多く課すと同時に、テキストの報告を定期的に求める。
System of National Accounts is considered core accounting system for official statistics.
