Sports medicine is not a field just practiced by medical practitioners such as doctors, but actually a very wide academic field that includes research into improving health and performance related to sports. The aim of this course is to learn about the various research problems and planning, using medical research as a base.
Students will select topics of their choice and then introduce related academic papers (English) in order to provide background explanation. Then, based on these topics, students will create a research theme for consideration and discuss it.

スポーツ医学とは、医師など医療従事者が行う学問だけではなく、スポーツに関連した健康やパフォーマンス向上に関する研究も含まれる非常に広い分野の学問である．医学研究をベースに、さまざまな研究の問題点や研究プランニングを学ぶことを目標とする．

受講者がスポーツ医学に関する任意のトピックスを選択し、バックグラウンドの説明のため、関連した研究論文（英文）の紹介を受講者が順番に行う．また、このトピックスに基づき、検討可能な研究テーマを作成し、議論する．
