Students will learn about research ethics, how to write papers, and basic research methods related to law studies. Students will do work which will act as a starting point for research to write a master’s thesis (research paper).
Students will learn about research ethics, literature search methods, and how to write papers which they need to know in advance to perform future research. In addition, students will deepen their understanding of law research methods by reading in turn judicial precedents (Supreme Court and lower court judicial precedents), judicial precedent annotations, and prominent papers in the field of law.

法学研究に関して、研究倫理、論文執筆法、研究方法の基本を身につける。修士論文（リサーチ・ペーパー）執筆のための研究の出発点になる作業を行う。
Students will learn about research ethics, how to write papers, and basic research methods related to law studies. Students will do work which will act as a starting point for research to write a master’s thesis (research paper).
今後の研究を遂行するうえで予め知っておくべき研究倫理、文献探索法、論文執筆法について学ぶ。また、判例（最高裁判例と下級審裁判例）、判例評釈、法学分野の優れた論文を輪読することで、法学の研究方法について理解を深める。
