Fostering the ability to catch the essence of the question and the assertion of the author and to summarize and explain them in succinct manner in Japanese.

国際法の基本事項に関する発展的な問題を扱った英語文献の検討を通じて、国際法を研究する上での基本的な理論と概念についての理解を深める。
Acquiring basic theoretical underpinnings and concepts through in-depth examination of documents and articles dealing with the current international affairs.
各回1つの英語文献を対象として取り上げ、その検討を通じて、１．英文で説明されている内容を、日本語で正確に説明できる力を身につけ、２．取り上げられているテーマについて、どのような問題意識に基づいて取り上げられており、何が重要な事項として示されているのかを把握し、それを簡潔にまとめて示すことができる文章力を身につける。
