This course aims for each student to present a report about a research topic they are currently pursuing to faculty members from other fields and participants including graduate students, in order to establish a broad research perspective through debate.
One student per meeting presents a report about the research topic s/he is currently pursuing, forming the basis for a debate among all students. Thus, the course aims to include students who are conducting research in various fields and areas, in order to stimulate others. participants. Therefore, presentations are attended not only by the advising faculty member and students, but faculty members from other fields are also scheduled to attend to provide advice and suggestions, etc. In consideration of the course purpose and objectives, students are required to participate actively.

各履修者が目下取り組む研究テーマについて，他分野の教員，院生も含めた参加者の前で報告し，討論を通じて広い研究的視野を確立する。

毎回，履修者1名が，目下取り組む研究テーマについて報告し，それをもとに全員で討論する。この授業は，学生の研究がそれぞれの分野，領域で行われるよう，その刺激を与えることをその目的の一つとしている。したがって，毎回の授業には指導教員や履修者のみならず，可能であれば，他分野の教員も出席して，助言等がなされることが予定されている。履修者も，このような授業の目的，目標に鑑み，積極的に授業に参加することが求められる。
