【Course Objectives】

The purpose of this course is to acquire an essential understanding of the evolution of American diplomacy since the founding of the Republic by reading a number of basic textbooks on American foreign relations.

【Course Contents】

T. Sasaki, Reisen (2011), Andrew Preston, American Foreign Relations (2019), Charles A. Kupchan, Isolationism (2020) will be used for the reading materials.
