The purpose of this course is to acquire an essential understanding of the evolution of American diplomacy since the founding of the Republic by reading a number of basic textbooks on American foreign relations.
T. Sasaki, Reisen (2011), Andrew Preston, American Foreign Relations (2019), Charles A. Kupchan, Isolationism (2020) will be used for the reading materials.

アメリカ外交・外交史のテキストの精読を通じて、建国以来のアメリカの外交政策について理解を深める。
The purpose of this course is to acquire an essential understanding of the evolution of American diplomacy since the founding of the Republic by reading a number of basic textbooks on American foreign relations.
今学期は、佐々木卓也『冷戦』（2011）、Andrew Preston, American Foreign Relations (2019), Charles A. Kupchan, Isolationism: A History of America's Efforts to Shield Itself from the World (2020)を中心に輪読し、建国以来のアメリカ外交の史的展開を把握する。
