We will learn the concept of “human rights” and “multi-culturalism” and consider what causes to disturb “co-living”, and how to overcome these obstacles.
We will cover some basic arguments on “human rights” and “multi-culturalism.” We will also learn past and present incidents in the field of human rights and multiculturalism, particularly focusing on the voices of individuals who face difficulties and contradictions and how they overcome those situations. We will introduce some Christian thoughts as appropriate. Students are required to make some presentations based on their own interests.

「人権」、「多文化共生」などの概念の成り立ちについて理解し、「共に生きる」ことを阻害する事態はなぜ生じるのか、それらを克服するためにそれらの概念がフィールド／実生活のなかでどのように活かされうるかを考察する。
We will learn the concept of “human rights” and “multi-culturalism” and consider what causes to disturb “co-living”, and how to overcome these obstacles.
「人権」、「多文化共生」などの概念をめぐる様々な課題と論考について理解を深めると同時に、「フィールド／生活世界」で起きたこと、起きていることの断片を理解し、生じている矛盾や具体的な個が背負う困難を克服するためのさまざまな人びとの努力やその背後に横たわる個人の「声」に耳をすませる。適宜、キリスト教「界」の思考についても紹介する。学生は、テクストに基づき、あるいはそれぞれの関心に基づいて「ともに生きる」ことに関する発表をおこなう。

毎回、文献資料だけでなく、映像作品などを含めた資料を、授業内で広く紹介する予定。紹介する参考文献、資料を盛り込んだレジュメは、前日までにblackboardにアップするので、あらかじめ読み込んでおくことが望ましい。
