In order to revitalize local communities through tourism, people who have the ability to accurately capture the changing tourism trends, and innovating and managing tourist destinations are required. In this class, we will learn about the acquisition of knowledge and skills as the tourist destinations management experts, and how to analyze the research required for tourist management.
In order to understand the significance of running a tourist destination, the significance of innovation, and to acquire the ability to practice, we study the trends of tourism that is changing from various environmental conditions surrounding modern tourism and community. Learn the multifaceted knowledge from the perspective of tourism and regional promotion, such as the utilization of regional resources and effective regional information transmission methods, and the research and analysis methods for that purpose, and further learning more practically through case study. During the class period, two fieldwork (voluntary participation) will be planned according to the content.

観光による地域振興を図るためには，変化する観光の動向を的確にとらえ，観光地を革新し，マネジメントする能力をもった人材が求められる。この授業では，そうした知識・スキルをもった人材＝観光地経営専門家を育成することを目標とした知識の習得と，観光地経営に必要とされる調査分析方法について学ぶ。

観光地を経営し，革新することの意義を理解し，実践する力を身につけるために，現代の観光を取り巻く様々な環境条件と変わりゆく観光の動向を多角的に把握するとともに，地域資源の活用，効果的な地域情報発信の方法など，観光と地域振興に関わる多角的な視点からの知識とそのための調査分析方法を学び，さらに事例研究を通したより実践的・発展的な学習を行う。授業期間中に，内容に即した2度のフィールドワーク(任意参加)を実施する。

授業期間中に2度のフィールドワークを計画している。任意参加で交通費は自己負担となるが，観光地経営の実際を学ぶ良い機会であるので，参加を強く勧める。
