【Course Objectives】

As the following are essential in child and adolescent clinical psychology, a practical grasp of each will be cultivated through seminars and case studies: ① the assessment based on developmental stage; ② understanding non-language, visually-oriented types of expression; and ③ understanding the client’s environment and dealing with his/her family, friends, and school.

【Course Contents】

We will survey the characteristics and peculiarities of child and adolescent clinical psychology, and consider the assessment and diagnosis of child and adolescent clients. Non-language, visually-oriented types of expression such as drawing, impressions/imagery, focusing, etc. will be examined through seminars. Then through case studies, we will additionally consider how to deal with and cooperate with individuals in a client’s environment (family, friends, and school).
