This class provides the practical training that is required before one can become a certified public psychologist. Primarily through off-campus practical training in the actual workplace of a certified public psychologist (hereafter, “workplace practical training”), students will receive experience-based training in the following:
(A) knowledge and know-how regarding clients, etc. (communication, psychological examinations, psychological interviews, support for communities, etc.); (B) understanding clients, grasping their needs, and creating support plans; (C) team approaches to client support; (D) cooperation among multiple professions and within communities; and (E) the professional ethics and legal obligations of certified public psychologists.
This class is composed of workplace practical training held at off-campus training institutions.
During workplace practical training, after understanding the fundamental knowledge and skills that are essential for certified public psychologists, students will receive practical guidance from the responsible instructor or faculty member primarily in the following five areas:
(A) knowledge and know-how regarding clients, etc. (communication, psychological examinations, psychological interviews, support for communities, etc.);
(B) understanding clients, grasping their needs, and creating support plans;
(C) team approaches to client support;
(D) cooperation among multiple professions and within communities;
(E) the professional ethics and legal obligations of certified public psychologists.
Among the five major fields of practical training, students must complete off-campus training in one or more of the following fields at an eligible institution or institutions: health & medicine, welfare, or education. Practical training in the health & medicine field (at a medical institution) must be included either in this class (Practicum in Psychology 4) or in Practicum in Psychology 3. For each field, 1 hour of pre-training, at least 184 hours of practical training in the workplace, and 1 hour of follow-up training are required. Moreover, at least 95 hours of the workplace practical training must be devoted to case-related duties.
The pre-training session will build upon material learned in previous classes by reiterating the following with regard to the selected field of practical training: the role and duties of certified public psychologists; cooperation with other professionals; and relevant laws, regulations, institutions, etc. The follow-up session will build upon expertise gained during the off-campus practical training. Trainees will discuss the psychological support provided by certified public psychologists in the selected field of practical training.

公認心理師となるために必要な心理実践の実習を行う。主には学外の公認心理師の支援の現場での実習（以下、現場実習）を通じて、(ア)心理に関する支援を要する者等に関する以下の知識の修得 （コミュニケーション、心理検査、心理面接、地域支援等）、 (イ) 心理に関する支援を要する者等の理解とニーズの把握及び支援計画の作成 、(ウ) 心理に関する支援を要する者へのチームアプローチ、 (エ) 多職種連携及び地域連携 、(オ) 公認心理師としての職業倫理及び法的義務への理解を体験的に習得する。

本授業は、学外実習施設における現場実習から構成される。
現場実習では、公認心理師に必要な基礎的な知識・技能の理解の上に、主に次の5点について、実習指導者と実習担当教員から指導を受ける。
(ア)心理に関する支援を要する者等に関する以下の知識の修得 （コミュニケーション、心理検査、心理面接、地域支援等）
(イ)心理に関する支援を要する者等の理解とニーズの把握及び支援計画の作成
(ウ)心理に関する支援を要する者へのチームアプローチ
(エ)多職種連携及び地域連携
(オ)公認心理師としての職業倫理及び法的義務
実習施設は、主要５分野のうち、保健医療分野もしくは福祉分野、教育分野に関する学外施設のうち、１分野以上とする。そのうち、保健医療分野（医療機関）については、本授業（心理実践実習4）もしくは心理実践実習3において必ず実習することとする。１分野につき、事前学習１時間、現場での実習時間184時間以上、事後学習1時間とする。なお、現場実習時間のうち、ケースの担当を95時間以上とする。
事前授業では、これまでの講義での学習をもとに、当該分野における公認心理師の役割と業務内容、他職種との連携、関連法規や制度などについて概要を振り返る。また事後授業では、現場実習で学んだことをもとに、当該分野における公認心理師の心理的支援についてディスカッションをおこなう。

公認心理師の職責、すなわち①公認心理師の役割、②公認心理師の法的義務及び倫理、③心理に関する支援を要する者等の安全の確保、④ 情報の適切な取扱い、 ⑤保健医療、福祉、教育その他の分野における公認心理師の具体的な業務、⑥多職種連携及び地域連携 についての基礎的な学習を予習として行う。現場実習に行く分野についての予備学習を行う。担当ケースについての予備学習を行う。現場実習後はその都度、実習日誌への記載を行い、振り返りと自己評価を行う。担当ケースについて、実習指導者および担当教員より指導を受けた上で改めて振り返りを行う。
