【Course Objectives】

Through experience-based learning, students will master the skills employed by certified clinical psychologists.

【Course Contents】

The interviewing skills required of a certified clinical psychologist will be mastered through experience-based training. Seminars will include role-playing that enables students to practice the fundamentals of conducting interviews as well as understand the traits required of an interviewer. Each student will have a limited number of opportunities to conduct realistic clinical psychology interviews on a trial-and-error basis. Through a group supervision system, each transcript/recording will be analyzed, and feedback will be provided, enabling students to master the basic skills required to perform clinical psychology interviews such as interview flow and diagnosis. Continuing from the spring semester, students will further master the basic knowledge and skills required of a therapist through practical training in telephone reception, observation of client interviews, and participation in case studies, all of which will be held at the on-campus training facility.
