This course aims to enable students, based on their individual research domain, to seek the form of its basic concepts and thereby discover its principles.
This course uses a number of texts or other materials associated with the basic concepts of Body Expression and Cinematic Arts (e.g., expression, interpretation, sensation, construction, objectivity, criticism, creation, analysis, synthesis). Students are expected to participate actively while consciously generating their own ideas, opinions, problems, and questions regarding course themes. Moreover, the course offers guidance on writing papers.

この授業では、それぞれの院生が自らの研究領域のもとで、映像身体学についての基本概念の形成を目指し、またそこからこの学の原理を見出すことを目標とする。
This course aims to enable students, based on their individual research domain, to seek the form of its basic concepts and thereby discover its principles.
ここでは、映像身体学の基本概念――表現、解釈、感覚、構成、対象性、批判、創造、分析、総合、等々――についていくつかのテクストや資料を用いて、授業を進めていきたい。受講者は、授業内でのテーマについての自分の考えや意見、問題や質問を提起できるようつねに意識して積極的に参加してもらいたい。また論文の書き方についての指導も含めて授業を展開する予定である。
