The purposes of this course are for students to: 1. become accustomed to reading philosophy and aesthetics literature in a language other than that they typically use;
2. learn how to write concrete, theory-based critiques of art works after understanding the gist of modern critical theory; and
3. understand why certain concerns and themes arose within modern political movements, political thought, and political philosophies, thereby gaining the ability to debate their contemporary meaning.
The purpose of this course is for students to read works concerning the relationship between psychoanalysis and aesthetics in multiple languages and then discuss and debate them.

２．現代の批評理論の概要を理解し、自分自身でも具体的に作品を理論的に批評できるようになる。
３．現代の政治運動/政治思想/政治哲学において問われていたことが何であるのかを理解し，その現代的な意義を論じることができるようになる。
