Understand the history of economic, social, and political responses of the welfare state and its changes, and propose the future of our country, society, and welfare policy.
Using textbooks on the welfare state, how to understand the welfare state, and how the government, private companies, and citizens can deal with the welfare problems of the people and citizens in the midst of economic and social changes. We will consider whether we should We would also like to discuss specific welfare policies of other countries such as the United States and Sweden. This class will be conducted in seminar style.

福祉国家の経済的・社会的・政治的な対応の歴史とその変化を理解したうえで、将来の私たちの国や社会、そして福祉政策のあり方を提起できること。
Understand the history of economic, social, and political responses of the welfare state and its changes, and propose the future of our country, society, and welfare policy.
福祉国家に関するテキストを利用しながら、福祉国家をどのように捉えるのか、また、経済・社会の変化のなかで国民・市民の福祉的な問題に国や民間企業、市民はどのように取り組んでいくべきなのかを検討していく。また、アメリカやスウェーデンなどの諸外国の具体的な福祉政策についても議論をしていきたい。なお、本講義は演習形式で行う。

予習として、該当の章を読み、関連する書籍や論文などを踏まえて考察をし、レジュメを作成し、講義時に発表できるようにする。復習としては、関連する書籍や論文、新聞記事などにより事実確認を行い、自らの知識と見解を深める。
なお、必要に応じて、講義時やBlackboardで文献等を紹介する。
