This course aims for understanding community empowerment by reading a lot of literatture about community development, social solidarity economy, municipalism and so on.
Today, social enterprises are attracting attention as agents of social inclusion to solve social exclusion. However, social enterprises are not simply organizations that "solve social problems through business," but exist as players of social solidarity economy based on civil society. We would like to consider social solidarity economy, and various community empowerment methodology that support social solidarity economy, while reading a wide variety of literature, including foreign books.

社会的排除問題が深刻化する中で，コミュニティをどのように再生し，エンパワーメントしていくことが可能なのか，英国のコミュニティ開発論、社会的連帯経済論、ミュニシパリズム論等に関わる文献を多読しながら学ぶ。
This course aims for understanding community empowerment by reading a lot of literatture about community development, social solidarity economy, municipalism and so on.
今日，社会的排除を解決する社会的包摂の主体として，社会的企業が注目を集めている。しかし，社会的企業は，単に「ビジネスで社会問題を解決する」組織ではなく，市民社会を基盤とした連帯的な経済、すなわち、社会的連帯経済の担い手として存在している。そうした社会的連帯経済について，それを支えるコミュニティ・エンパワーメントの手法やミュニシパリズム（地域自治主義）について、洋書を含む多様な文献を多読しながら考察していきたい。

社会的連帯経済による地域再生や社会的包摂の可能性や課題について検討するために，拙編著やコミュニティ開発と社会的連帯経済に関する文献を幅広く輪読していく。これらのテーマに関する文献リストも配布する。また、参加者のオリジナル報告も適宜入れながら進めていきたい。学外で社会的連帯経済推進フォーラムという研究会も主催しているので，そちらも是非参加して頂けると良いと思う。
