Students will reconsider cultural policy from the perspective of social design, that is, the relationship with society. Students will understand how art and culture, art diversity and creativity resonate with social areas, respond to the demands of the times, or pose challenges, and consider the future direction of cultural policy.
Students will understand the current cultural policies that are expanding from the growth of the area of relationships between culture, art, and society. In each class, we will take practical examples from the field corresponding to "Culture, Art + XXX", and consider the significance of such efforts from a cultural policy perspective. Discussion will be the basic format, and we will also have presentations and lectures from invited guests as appropriate.

社会デザインの視点、すなわち、社会との関係性から文化政策を捉え直す。芸術や文化、アートの多様性や創造性が、社会の諸領域とどのように共振し、時代の要請に応答し、あるいは課題提起しているのかを把握し、文化政策の今後の方向性を考える。

拡張しつつある昨今の文化政策を、文化・芸術・アートと社会の関わりの領域拡大から捉えていく。各回の授業では、「文化、アート×〇〇〇」に該当する現場の実践事例をとりあげ、そうした取り組みの意義を文化政策的観点で考える。各分野の現場で活躍するゲストを招いた講義を行いつつ、ディスカッションで理解を深めていく。

本科目は授業回の全てにおいて、理論等学術的な知見を踏まえつつ、担当教員の実務家としての経験、または研究成果を活かし、教員と学生との双方向の討論を重視した実践的な授業とする。学生には、課題の発表や討論など、授業での積極的な参加を期待する。
