There is no right answer in the welfare system.
We have our own will of trial and error, evolution, and the kind of society we want.
This course aims to help students recognize the various welfare issues that exist in modern society and make decisions about how they think and respond.
This course is designed for students to: (1) learn the background of welfare development and basic knowledge of current issues; (2) continue discussions and think from various perspectives about welfare issues; and (3) summarize their individual opinions on methods for solving welfare issues.

福祉とは「生きづらさ」を抱える人を支え、人の幸福を高めるための様々な取組と考えられる。その在り方には、明確な正解があるわけではなく、社会で暮らす私たち自身が、どのような社会を望むのかという意思を持ち、試行錯誤を重ねることで進化していく。まさに社会デザインの発想と取組が求められている。
この講義は、福祉に携わる専門家としての知識の習得を目標とするものではなく、社会で日々暮らしている私たち自身が、現代社会に存在する様々な福祉的課題について、ジブンゴトとして認識し、どう考えどう対応していくべきか、自らの意見と行動の判断ができるようになることを目標とする。

・福祉の発展の経緯と現状の課題の基本的な知識を学ぶ
・時事ニュースや様々な言説を元に、議論を重ね、多様な視点から考える
・福祉的課題の解決のための方法について、自分の意見をまとめる
