Besides Covid―19 still damaging our society, attack on Ukraine are triggering food and energy price hikes. On the other hand extreme weathers caused by climate change continues to harm tour society, which is caused by human activities. A third of the forest was lost since humans began agriculture. Is to be blamed for climate change and human rights fraud, which is led by consumer needs .Now that not only government and business but consumer must change our lifestyle to more sustainable way.
What is the meaning of sustainability represented by SDGs? In this course we will go over the major environmental and social issues, and study about the role of SDGs and Paris Agreement, both of which are intended to transform our society. Then we will discuss the necessary lifestyle change and also ethical consumption on each food, apparel, and housing.

・コロナ禍が続くなかで、ウクライナ紛争により、エネルギー価格や食料価格が世界的に高騰と、世界はＶＵＣＡの様相を高めている。台風や洪水、干ばつなどの世界各地での異常気象は加速化し、我々の経済社会生活に大きな影響をあたえつつある。しかしこの異常気象は人間活動がもたらした帰結でもある。人類が農耕生活を始めて以来世界の森林面積の1/3は失われた。また2050年の海には魚よりプラスチックの方が多くなるといわれるように、経済活動は生物多様性を損ね、地球に大きな影響を与えている。また、コロナ禍とウクライナ紛争は、貧困層と環境に打撃を与えて、ＳＤＧｓのゴール達成を遠ざけている。環境破壊や人権侵害は直接的には企業が引き起こすことが多いが、その背後には消費者のニーズがある。今や政府や企業だけでなく、私たち消費者のライフスタイル自体をサステナブルに変革することが求められている。

そもそもSDGｓのS（サステナビリティ＝持続可能性）とは何か？ 本講義では環境の持続可能性、社会の持続可能性について主要な課題について概観し、、現在のグローバル社会を持続可能に転換させるシステム ＳＤＧｓとパリ協定の目的と進捗について理解を深める。それを受けて、消費生活の在り方をどのように変えるべきか検討していく。ライフスタイル全体の見直し、食・衣・住・エネルギーの３つの分野において、サプライチェーンに潜む課題と解決策を考察する。
