The course aims to contribute to the prevention of genocide and related incidents by learning about the genocide experiened by humanity, as a researcher as well as a citizen.
In this course, which considers crisis management in the international community, we will focus on Nazi Genocide and reconsider the issues while exploring nexus with us living in the present. This is at the same time an attempt to confront our own history as perpetrators of the second world war as well as to discover the relationships with bullying, corporal punishment, hate speech, and other forms of violence and genocide lurking in our daily lives.

研究者あるいは市民として、人類が経験したジェノサイド（集団殺害）や類似の事例を学ぶことにより、事件の再発防止や予防に寄与することを目的とする。

国際社会の危機管理を考える本講座では、ナチ・ジェノサイドに焦点を当て、現代に生きる私たちとの接点を探りつつ再考していく。これは同時に、私たちが、日中戦争や第二次世界大戦の加害者としての歴史と改めて対峙するための試みであり、いじめや体罰、ヘイトスピーチなど私たちの日常生活に潜む暴力とジェノサイド的思想との連関を探る試みでもある。
