21世紀社会デザイン研究科では、教室での対面授業を基本としながら、同時に遠隔地在住の学生の学びを保証するため、オンラインでも受講できる形で授業を行う。なお、履修者全員の了承が取れた場合には、「対面のみ」もしくは「オンラインのみ」で授業を行うこともある。 |

The goal is for the student to create a master's thesis/research report rich in originality, with each student aware of their own position, having awareness as a concerned party, and confronting themselves and society in good faith in line with their own issue of interest.
The research areas will be those related to genocide studies, refugees and immigrants, international cooperation, global issues, peace-building, human security, conflict and reconciliation, transitoinal justice, memory, NGO activities, and international humanitarian law, etc. We will provide guidance on writing an academic paper with emphasis on both individual teaching and group teaching.

受講者一人ひとりが、自らの立ち位置を意識し、当事者としての自覚をもちながら， 独自の問題関心に沿って，自分自身や社会と誠実に向き合いつつ、独創性に富んだ修士論文・研究報告書を作成することを目標とする。

ジェノサイド研究，難民・移民、国際協力，地球規模課題，平和構築，人間の安全保障，紛争と和解，移行期正義，記憶， NGOの諸活動、国際人道法などに関する研究領域を主な指導対象とし、個別指導およびグループ指導双方に重点を置いて，論文執筆のための指導を行う。
