【Course Objectives】

Based on their own awareness of the issue, each student will decide their research theme and research process independently, and will deepen their research on a daily basis based on the advice of faculty members. The goal is to write up the research results in an academic paper, bring to society the student's problem-awareness, and reach a place where it can be shared with others.

【Course Contents】

[M1] Through each piece of work, students will learn the basics of thinking and methods to create academic research and academic papers, and clearly express the location of problems, the research purpose, hypotheses, and research methods, etc. in their research themes. When exploring research themes, students should focus on carefully examining social concepts, precedents, and their idea of common sense and "normality". In addition, the basic policy of the course is to regularly prepare for academic paper writing from an early stage by repeating the training of expressing ideas and writing text on a daily basis.
[M2] Document the progress of research (new findings and issues, etc. obtained in the course of the research) and make a presentation. Students will repeat discussions with faculty and seminar members to gradually deepen the research. Students will examine the preceding research deeply from both theory and practice, and proceed with research and writing systematically.
