The goal of this seminar is for students to solidify the structures of their theses by striving to clarify research themes and methodologies, and learning specific methods for writing academic papers and other basic knowledge and skills required to write master’s theses. Each student will learn how to properly position in their thesis the theories and models that form the basis of their thesis.
Classes revolve around students’ presentations of how the previous research they have gathered on their research themes relates to their research, and which theories and models form the basis of their research. In each class, students will create summaries to report on their research, and their classmates will offer comments on the reports. Thus, students are required to work diligently on their research and make enough progress to be able to give reports at each class meeting.

修士論文作成に向けて，研究テーマ，研究方法の明確化を図るとともに，論文執筆の具体的方法等，論文作成に必要な基礎知識と能力を身につけ，自分の論文の構成を固めることを目的とする。各自が自分の論文の基礎となる理論やモデルを適切に論文の中に位置づけることを目的とする。

各自が集めた自分の研究テーマに関連する先行研究をどのように自分の研究に位置づけるのか，また，どの理論やモデルを自分の研究の基礎とするのかを発表していくことで授業を進める。毎回，参加者が自分の研究についてレジュメをもとに報告し，それについて他の参加者がコメントを出すという形で授業を進めるため，各自が自分の研究をしっかりと進め，毎回，進捗状況が報告できるようにしていく必要がある。
