【Course Objectives】

To work on initial tasks for working on master's theses or graduate research on topics related to translation and interpreting.

【Course Contents】

Students learn essential elements in working on their master's theses or graduate research. For master’s theses, students receive advice on how to find relevant literature, establish research questions and research approach, and identify theoretical frameworks and methods of gathering and analyzing data. For graduate research, students work on actual translations and prepare for theoretical analysis. Students are required to conduct a pilot project and submit a report on the findings.
