Understand methods of effectively using Japanese language teaching methods and educational media geared toward learner characteristics, and gain the ability to connect them to practice.
Classes revolve around important aspects of actual classroom situations within Japanese language education: diversity of learners, classroom management, the importance of teachers’ roles, course materials and teaching methods. In particular, we will focus on learning and developmental disabilities that require special attention in classrooms in recent years, and understand and consider the theoretical backgrounds of teachers’ attitudes and beliefs, effective teaching strategies, use of media, teaching methods and the like while considering how to help learners with those characteristics.

教育をArt ではなく Scienceとしてとらえるというのはどういうことか、そこにどんなメリットがあるのかを、教育工学、主としてインストラクショナル・デザインの視点から理解する。さらに、態度変容の理論を軸に、実践力のある教師養成について理解を深める。
Understand methods of effectively using Japanese language teaching methods and educational media geared toward learner characteristics, and gain the ability to connect them to practice.
前半は、教育工学の視点から日本語教育を考える。具体的には、教育をシステムとして考え、そのシステムを構成する諸要素について学び、教育カリキュラムや授業をデザインする方法について概観する。後半は、心理学等の理論を基礎として態度変容について学び、実践力のある教師を養成するために、それらの理論や方法がどのように適用可能かについて知見を深める。
