【Course Objectives】

This course aims to provide an understanding of how Japanese culture and thought influence on second language acquisition and development by Japanese learners of English. Through studying case studies on various issues, possible ideas of effective teaching to improve the learners' communicative skills are proposed and discussed.

【Course Contents】

Students are required to read given materials and orally report the summary in class, followed by discussions. Students are also asked to complete a mini-project based on their observations, experiences, and experiments.
