【Course Objectives】

Tim Ingold, who emerged at the end of the 20th century in the post-structuralist and reflexive anthropological era, is an anthropologist with a strong momentum that is changing the value and outlook of the existing anthropology. In this course, we will read Ingold's latest work, "Correspondences" to see Ingold's vision of anthropology.This will help to develop a deeper understanding of the perspectives and theories.

【Course Contents】

In "Correspondences" Ingold discusses in great depth the concept of " correspondence" that he has discussed in his previous works and at the same time, he takes a number of artworks and installations and gives a critical review of them. In this course, we will develop a deeper understanding of Ingold's anthropology, which sees great potential in art.
