【Course Objectives】

Students are expected to learn (1) issues of key areas in development, such as poverty, urbanization, disaster, climate change, and environment; (2) approaches and projects of development assistance in these areas; (3) Japanese experience that can contribute to resolving the issues in development.

【Course Contents】

The course will cover: (1) lectures on the key areas in development, and project and approaches of development assistance; and (2) group discussions and presentation on the issues of development.

全授業回のうち3 回のみオンラインもしくはオンデマンドにて実施(実施回については、 Canvas LMS で指示する)
Three classes will be conducted via ZOOM, online, or on demand. I will inform, on Canvas LMS, which classes will be conducted online or on demand.

1) PPT slides and other materials are provided in each class.
2) All students participate in group discussions for 10-15 minutes in each class. Active participation is expected.
3) Two classes are conducted as excise-group discussion style.
4) Feedback on comments is provided at Keijiban and in the next class.
