【Course Objectives】

The primary focus is to foster basic skills for actively advancing specialized research from the second year.

【Course Contents】

As a compulsory subject required for graduation, this discipline is designed to allow students who have entered the Department of History to fully encounter the nature and rudimentary content of the three majors of world history, Japanese history, and interdisciplinary cultural studies. In either the first or the second half, the course will offer seminars in information literacy by combining one or two classes. Classes are small-member seminars with around 25 people, taking advantage of the specialization and personality of the instructor. The organization of the introductory seminars to be offered will be explained in the first year guidance of the Department of History in April. The class, the day of the week offered, and the time will also be notified in the guidance. Information about the classroom, etc. for the information literacy seminars will be provided separately on the bulletin board for attention. Automatic registration.
