【Course Objectives】

Students will acquire ability to accurately comprehend specialized literature in Japanese and English on Western medieval and Renaissance history, which is essential for writing graduation theses and seminars in thesis writing, and will acquire surveying ability required for participants in writing their own theses.

【Course Contents】

In each session, students will create outlines of assigned literature in Japanese and English aligned with to the class themes, and will engage in group reading and discussions. Participants will also report on their own research as appropriate.
