The goals of this course are to
(1) Learn how to develop good questions and choose methods to best answer these questions.
(2) Develop analytical skills that enable you to evaluate the quality of your own and other scholars’ research.
The course takes the form of an intermediate seminar for undergraduate students and is discussion based. Each student must prepare a progress report. The content should be either a literature review, introduction of theory, research plan, data summary, or analysis result.

この授業の目的は、
(1) 研究課題の立て方と、最適な研究方法について学ぶ。
(2) 自分の研究や先行研究を評価できるようになる。

この授業は中級者向けのゼミナールである。受講者は研究課題や進捗状況に応じて、先行研究のレビュー、理論の紹介、研究計画、データの要約、分析結果のいずれかについて発表する。
