【Course Objectives】

The purpose of this course is to improve your ability to research historical materials and deepen your insight into early modern local societies through the experience of going to places where historical materials remain and researching and collecting the early modern historical materials left there.

【Course Contents】

Students will visit areas where historical materials related to early modern local societies remain, understand the state of remaining historical materials, and learn how to actually research and collect early modern historical materials. By reading the collected historical materials, we will clarify the state of local society in the early modern period. We will also be tasked with visiting areas where the state of early modern society still exists and examining the state of early modern society from a reconstructive perspective.
