The goal is to improve the ability to read maps and research historical materials, which are necessary for advancing Japanese history research, by visiting the research site and visiting them.
Target cities such as Asuka and Nara, and conduct surveys according to the plans made by each of them in the pre-study session. The era is not limited to the ancient history of Japan, and the subjects also follow the interests of each person, such as entertainment, city planning, and religious facilities.

研究対象地に自ら赴き見聞することを通じて，日本史研究を進めていく上で必要となる地図の読み方や史料調査に関する能力を高めることを目標とする。

飛鳥・奈良の都城を対象とし，各々が事前学習会でたてた計画に従って調査する。時代は日本古代史にとどまらず，対象も芸能，都市計画，宗教施設など，各人の興味に従う。

フィールドワークの日程は，3泊４日夏季休暇中， 9月上旬を予定している。第1回目の事前学習会を4月11日（木）12:30～13:25を対面で実施するので，出席すること。以降の事前学習会は、ハイブリッドで行う予定。詳細は，以下のその他欄を見ること。調査以外に，事前学習会を実施して調査対象に関する準備を行い，調査後には成果発表会を行う。調査に主体的に参加していただきたい。
