The class aims to have students understand what sort of region Europe is. At the same time, it will explore, in a multi-faceted manner, the natural environment of the world and the human activities played out on that stage, and will instill in students thinking power and comprehensive knowledge concerning the region.
Taking up and explaining the natural environment, cultural factors, population, urban areas, agricultural villages, tourism, etc. that form the character of Europe, the course will consider the regionality of Europe by explaining specific regional examples.

ヨーロッパとはどのような地域であるのかを理解することを目標とする。それとともに，世界の自然環境，それを舞台に展開される人間活動を多角的に探求し，地域を考える総合的な知識と思考力を身に付ける。

ヨーロッパの性格を形成している，自然環境，文化要素，人口，都市，農村，ツーリズムなどをとりあげ説明するとともに，具体的な地域の特徴を説明することを通じて，ヨーロッパの地域性について考える。
