【Course Objectives】

(1) Students will learn the basic concept of clinical sociology of education.
(2) Students will deepen their interest through sharing them with one another.

【Course Contents】

Clinical sociology of education is a field of research that examines issues at places of education, aims to contribute to problem solving, and promotes practical research.At the same time, it is a field that carries out objective analysis of the structures and backgrounds, etc., of issues and requires an awareness of how these issues are relevant to stakeholders. Interaction analysis plays a central role in this field, and role-playing activities will be used when required. In the spring semester, while reading literature related to theories and methods related to a wide range of fields such as sociology, educational philosophy and applied drama, etc., students will cultivate individual interest in specific issues and debate these issues focusing on tasks where they exchange comments on these issues.
