(1) Students will understand the significance of introducing knowledge of home economics and lifestyle studies into pedagogical research.
(2) Students will deepen their understanding of the relationship between housing, architecture and education.
(2) Students will be able to compare and discuss multiple literatures.
(3) Students will develop the ability to critique everyday life.
(1) Introduction: Students subscribe to an article or journal discussion article, etc., which they are also asked to read when selecting their seminar.
(2) Students report on a specific theme, referring to several references in the literature. After the report, the designated discussant will comment on the contents of the report, and finally, all students will discuss the report together.
(3) Students will read the works of Kisho Kurokawa, one of the leading architects of the postwar period.

（1）教育学研究に家政学、生活学の知見を導入することの意義を理解する。
（2）住居、建築と人間形成の関係について理解を深める。

（1）導入：ゼミ選択の際にも読んでもらった論文や雑誌の対談記事などを購読する。
（2）教員が指定した文献を複数組み合わせながら特定のテーマについてレポーターが報告する。その後指定討論者が報告内容についてコメントし、その後全体のディスカッションを行う。
（3）戦後を代表する建築家である黒川紀章の『ホモ・モーベンス』を読む。

当該のテーマについて複数の文献を考察し、自分なりのまとめを行ったプレゼンテーションの準備が毎回必要になる。報告レジュメの一次稿は報告の1週間前までに準備し、コメンテーターはこの一次稿に対するコメントを次週までに準備する。事後は全受講者がリアクションペーパーを提出し、当該回の議論を振り返ることになる。また、授業内容と関わりの深い建築物（学生が移動できる範囲内のところで）を期限を決めて見ておくように指示することがある。
