【Course Objectives】

(1) Students will understand the significance of introducing knowledge of home economics and lifestyle studies into pedagogical research.
(2) Students will deepen their understanding of the relationship between housing, architecture and education.
(2) Students will be able to compare and discuss multiple literatures.
(3) Students will develop the ability to critique everyday life.

【Course Contents】

(1) Introduction: Students subscribe to an article or journal discussion article, etc., which they are also asked to read when selecting their seminar.
(2) Students report on a specific theme, referring to several references in the literature. After the report, the designated discussant will comment on the contents of the report, and finally, all students will discuss the report together.
(3) Students will read the works of Kisho Kurokawa, one of the leading architects of the postwar period.
