Students will acquire fundamental knowledge and skills for PC presentations and information processing by creating presentation slide materials using PowerPoint.
Students will gain practical training in using PowerPoint by creating slide materials to be presented during oral presentation.
In addition to explaining basic functions such as assigning meaning to items and drawing figures, and efficient functions such as organizing and associating objects, this course will also visualize information through slide creation and consider elements required for visual expression in PC presentations.
In order to implement the course in practical exercise format, it is necessary to take the course while operating PowerPoint every time.

PowerPointによるプレゼンテーション用スライド資料の作成を通じて，PCプレゼンテーションの特徴と情報処理の基礎的な知識や技能を身につける。
Students will acquire fundamental knowledge and skills for PC presentations and information processing by creating presentation slide materials using PowerPoint.
口頭発表で使用するスライド資料作成を通してPowerPointの操作方法について実習する。
項目レベルの意味づけ，図形描画などの基本的な機能やオブジェクトの整理、関連づけなどの効率的な機能などについて説明するとともに，スライド作成を通して情報の可視化，視覚表現に求められる要素などPCプレゼンテーションで考慮すべき点についても取り上げる。
実習形式の授業となるため，毎回PowerPointを操作しながら受講する必要がある。

論理重視か共感重視かなど，プレゼンの目的によってスライドに求められる内容も変化する。本授業では授業や研究発表での口頭発表を中心に必要と思われる技法を紹介するが，他にどのような場面で利用するのが効果的か、また他の目的でプレゼンする場ではどのような応用が可能か考えること。
応用に関して質問があれば上記授業内容から外れる事柄であっても自由に申し出てください。

PowerPointの基本的な操作から始まり提示資料作成に必要な機能の実習が中心となる。そのためPC操作やPowerPointでのスライド作成経験を問わない。
ただし作成に十分な技能を有している場合，内容の多くは機能の再確認にとどまる可能性が高い点に留意する。
毎回メディアセンターのPC実習室を利用するので準備は不要。
ただし個人のPCを利用する場合はMicrosoft365（またはMicrosoft Office）のPowerPointがインストールされている必要がある。他のプレゼンテーションアプリ（KeyNote，Google slide，ポラリスオフィスなど）の使用は認めない。
PowerPointをインストールする必要がある場合，大学在学中は無償で利用できるMicrosoft365のEESライセンスプログラムを利用できる。
必要な場合はSpiritのICT活用→PC（パソコン）→12
Microsoft 365（Office）を利用したい（EESライセンスプログラム） https://spirit.rikkyo.ac.jp/mc/pc/ees/SitePages/index.aspx で確認すること。
Macintoshの利用は制限しないが，MacintoshのPowerPointに対応しない機能を使用する可能性があるので留意する。モバイルアプリのPowerPointおよびタブレットPCの利用はWindows/Macintoshともに推奨しない。
授業資料配布及び課題提出にはCanvas LMSを利用する。
