【Course Objectives】

Capitalizing on German language skill learnt in year 1, students will master basic German grammars and solidify their language skill required to read in German.

【Course Contents】

Following beginner grammars learnt in last year Introductory German, students will read various texts silently and aloud. The key point is to check for important grammars found in textbooks of Introductory German.
This class will focus on training and applying German grammar rules and vocabularies learnt so far in reading documents. Students will receive German to Japanese translation assignment each time. Students will explain important points in class and practice reading aloud. Students will enjoy German language as they are able to apply grammars they learnt in reading documents. Students will learn basic vocabulary and memorize grammar rules simultaneously. Memorizing grammar rules and basic vocabularies are the secrets to mastering German language.
Professor Ide from Rikkyo University German Language Literature Program has developed unique set of printed materials, focusing on grammars and complete with detailed explanations. Students will surely be able to master the knowledge and rapidly improve their skills. Keep it up!
