While reading the text about Germany from the Weimar Republic era to the Nazi era and the period of World War II, we will deepen our understanding of the historical context. Simultaneously, we will explore silent films and Nazi propaganda films.
All students will read and translate the texts.
We will present and discuss the content of the text.
We will examine silent films and films of the Nazi era.

ヴァイマル時代からナチ時代、第二次世界大戦期のドイツについて書かれたテキストを読みながら、時代の様相についての理解を深めていきます。同時に、ヴァイマル時代に作られたサイレント映画の名作の数々、メディアを重要な戦略として用いたナチ時代のプロパガンダ映画など、実際の映像を観ながら検証していきます。
While reading the text about Germany from the Weimar Republic era to the Nazi era and the period of World War II, we will deepen our understanding of the historical context. Simultaneously, we will explore silent films and Nazi propaganda films.
１）受講者全員が、テクストの指定箇所を訳読していきます。
２）テクストの内容についての発表や、ディスカッションなどもとりいれていきます。
３）ヴァイマル時代のサイレント映画、ナチ時代のプロパガンダ映画を観ていきます。
