This course aims to gain a fundamental understanding of Märchen.
This course deals with Märchen through Grimm's Fairy Tales. The Brothers Grimm, Folktale Reserch, and the differences between Folktale, Märchen and other folklore will be introduced.

本講義はメルヒェンの基礎的な理解を得ることを目指します。
This course aims to gain a fundamental understanding of Märchen.
本講義では主としてグリム童話を用いながらメルヒェンについて学びます。昔話とメルヒェン、その他の伝承文学の違いや昔話の研究、また、グリム兄弟についても紹介します。
This course deals with Märchen through Grimm's Fairy Tales. The Brothers Grimm, Folktale Reserch, and the differences between Folktale, Märchen and other folklore will be introduced.
