German operettas will be the theme of this class. Students will study characteristics of this genre, as well as social and intellectual contexts.
This class will treat master works of operettas sung and played in German in chronological order. While watching video materials, students will conduct analysis from multiple perspectives of these works.

ドイツ語のオペレッタを取り上げ、このジャンルの特質と社会的・精神史的背景を学ぶ。
German operettas will be the theme of this class. Students will study characteristics of this genre, as well as social and intellectual contexts.
ドイツ語で歌われ、演じられるオペレッタの代表的な作品を時代順に取り上げ、映像資料を視聴しながら作品のさまざまな側面を多角的に考察する。

ドイツ語および音楽に関する基礎的な知識を持っていたほうがより授業内容になじみやすいが、成績評価にあたってドイツ語および音楽に関する知識の有無は問わない。
