Students will acquire basic knowledge about French society and culture to prepare themselves for specialized subjects. In addition, students will learn how to write reports, search, and present literatures.
Students will be exposed to several areas including, history, politics, economy, religion, and culture based on distributed materials, and compare France and Japan in these areas and search for its characteristics. Students will be divided into groups, and will research and present assigned subjects. Based on these presentations, all class members will exchange their opinions to further deepen their understandings. At the end of semester, students will select subjects they are interested in and submit their findings in reports.
In order to do this, students will also learn how to search for information in library and online, as well as doing presentation.

専門教育に向けて、フランスの社会や文化についての基礎的な知識を学ぶ。また、文献検索や発表の手法、レポート等の書き方を学ぶ。

フランスがどのような国なのか、歴史、政治、経済、宗教、文化などの分野からいくつかのテーマをとりあげ、配布資料等を用いて、日本との比較も行いながらその特徴を探っていきます。受講者はグループに分かれ、各グループごと担当するテーマについて調査・発表をします。発表をもとに、クラス全体で意見を交換し、さらに理解を深めていきます。学期末には各自が関心のあるテーマを選び、レポートにまとめて提出してもらいます。
以上の作業を行うために、図書館やインターネットを利用した資料検索の仕方、発表の方法なども学ぶ予定です。
