Read contemporary French literature related to gender
We will read gender-related literature in French like Despentes’s “King Kong Théorie”, Héritier’s “Masculin / Féminin”, Garcia’s “On naît pas soumise, on le devient” and consider issues of masculinity and femininity from various perspectives, including social, anthropological and philosophical perspectives. We will see that women are "Women" and "Others" from birth, while "Man" is an artificial and constructed concept.
Basically, the course consists of lectures in French, but students may be asked to submit their ideas in reaction papers or short reports.

Read contemporary French literature related to gender
デパントの『キングコング・セオリー』、エリチエ『差異の思考 男性的なもの／女性的なもの』、ガルシア『生まれつき男社会に服従する女はいない』などのジェンダー関連文献をフランス語で読み、社会、文化人類学、哲学などさまざまな観点から男らしさ・女らしさの問題を考える。女は生まれたときから〈女〉かつ〈他者〉である一方で、〈男〉は極めて人工的かつ構築的な概念であることを見てゆきたい。
基本は仏語文献の講読だが、リアクションペーパーや小レポートで考えを提出してもらうこともある。
受講者の関心やレベルによって扱う作品内容や順序を変更することがある。
